All children are different. So, one technique that worked for your friend may not work for you. So, it is important to know the nature of your child. Design and plot a plan to handle their special features. If you want to know how to get your kids co-operate, try these tips.

Suggest, don’t demand: Children don’t like forcing them to do something. It is true with adults as well! So, it is better not to force them to be the way how you like. You can give directions and teach them to make wise decisions. Under your tight supervision, allow them to make mistakes and teach them to learn from it.
Be practical: Understand that your kids are not mature enough to respond after understanding and relating the incidents that happen around them. If you want to make kids listen to you, it is important to come down to their level of thinking. Trying to implement ideas that you get from internet or from friends may not work, unless you know your child.

Be a role model: You cannot expect your child to co-operate with you, if they are not watching such a behavior in your family. Be a good example for them as children always have a tendency to imitate their parents. You can even try to make situations purposely when you want to let them know something new.

Don’t compare: It is a common practice of parents to compare their children with other kids of same age. But, this is a bad habit that will make your children become more mischievous. Accept your kid as they are and encourage them to be the best in their own way. Appreciating your kids will help to make kids listen to you.

Make it a game: If you want your kid to do something or learn something, try to introduce it to them as a game. This will help to make kids co operate with you easily. Instead of giving them short commands, try to explain to them about your intention. Tell them in detail and this will let them take it in such a way that they listen to something interesting. Giving short commands will make a tendency to oppose you.
Yelling and shouting on your child will not be a good idea to make kids co-operate with you. You have to follow silent and gentle methods to bring your kids into your track.
