  • Get the help of your doctor and get tips to deal with the pain after the c-section. If you want a medication, well ask your doctor. Also remember to ask about the side effects it may bring to you and your child.
  • Use only extra absorbent menstrual pads as you may begin bleeding bright blood up to 6 weeks. Your hospital may provide you with those menstrual pads, if not please ask them!

  • Make an arrangement where you can change and also feed, take care that this place is something very near so that you don't have to walk around often.
  • Take small and short walks around the home. This will help the wound after c-section to heal quicker and faster.
  • Be cautious about the fever or any discomfort that may occur after c-section. Approach your health care provider soon. This is one important care post c-section.
  • Take care while you bathe with your incision. Cover it with plastic when you bathe. Avoid bathing in bath tubs or swimming pools.
  • If you are so fond of driving, then this is the period you should give up that. Care post c-section is necessary while you drive. Avoid driving at least for 4 weeks after c-section.
