There are certain worst drinks that kids should never have. You must be careful regarding the eating and drinking habits of your kids. Nowadays, most of the children are already into junk foods and colas; this has resulted in obesity in children. Parents must be aware of the ill effects of certain foods and drinks. They must ensure that their kids never taste them or get addicted to them.

Most of us pick up some of our habits from our childhood. If we get habituated to it during childhood, it would very difficult to kick such habits. That is the reason why most of us are caffeine addicts as adults. It is good to educate your children about the ill effects of consuming unhealthy substances even though they are tasty. Coffee
Children already get certain amount of caffeine through many other sources such as ice creams or sodas. So, you need not serve your kids coffee in order to kickstart their day. Caffeine addiction is also an addiction and it is better to let your kids start their day with a healthy drink like milk.

Tea
Along with coffee, even tea can be avoided from the list of drinks you serve them. If you still wish to let your kids taste tea, go for black tea and green tea as they are a bit better. It is better to go for an unsweetened cup of green tea.

All types of sodas
Most of the kids today are already consuming unhealthy amounts of soft drinks or sodas. They might love their drinks, but as parents, you must not let them go for those slightly-addictive sweetened liquids. If your kid is too young, then sodas are a complete no-no. Research suggests that kids who have loved sodas in their childhood continue enjoying them even after growing up. Such people might suffer the risk of certain disorders such as obesity and diabetes.

Energy drinks
They are the worst drinks for your health. Energy drinks are not so healthy even for adults; how can we even imagine serving such drinks to children? They contain dangerous levels of caffeine and that is why they must be completely avoided. Stimulants may affect sleep patterns. Also, getting a high from energy drinks isn't healthy for the body in the long run.

Sweetened fruit juices
If you are concerned about your kids' health, then it is better to feed them with fresh fruits but not sweetened fruit juices. The added sugar is not so healthy even for grown ups.

Drinks that contain artificial colours
Avoid all drinks that contain artificial colours. They are dangerous for children. In fact, they are worst drinks for your body too.

Bottled juices
When you want to let your children enjoy a fruit juice, you must use fresh fruits and prepare the juice at home. Never go for bottled juices. Include them in your list of worst drinks.

Milkshakes
Why are milk shakes included in the list of worst drinks? They contain lots of sugar. They are also high in saturated fats. So, avoid milkshakes when your children are too young.

Fizzy beverages
They are the worst drinks for your teeth. They contain lots of sugar and on top of it, they are acidic. They are the reason for tooth decay.

Roadside drinks
They are completely harmful as certain toxic substances and unhealthy artificial colours are added to give them a look and taste. So ensure that you kids stay away from these worst drinks.
