Don't Yell At Your Naughty Son

Yelling at kids doesn't help a lot
Yelling at your naughty son would not make him obedient. The researchers found that misbehaving boys responded better when parents reason with them gently and are less likely to behave if their parents are hostile.

On the other hand, girls respond either ways and their behavioral problems are more strongly linked to socio-demographic factors.

Rather than yelling, parents should talk with their children and make them understand the effects of their behaviour on others. This is known as inductive reasoning. This corrects a child's behaviour without screaming and shouting at them.

A survey reveals that boys show a positive response to inductive reasoning. Their behaviour conduct improves greatly as compared to those who are dealt with a hostile attitude.

This effect of inductive reasoning can not be found among the girls. Rather, socio-demographic factors explains girls' behavioral problems in a better way.
