Rather than yelling, parents should talk with their children and make them understand the effects of their behaviour on others. This is known as inductive reasoning. This corrects a child's behaviour without screaming and shouting at them.
A survey reveals that boys show a positive response to inductive reasoning. Their behaviour conduct improves greatly as compared to those who are dealt with a hostile attitude.
This effect of inductive reasoning can not be found among the girls. Rather, socio-demographic factors explains girls' behavioral problems in a better way.
