All you need

One bar of color free soap
Essential oils
Almond Oil
Vitamin E Oil (optional)
Molds of your choice
Food coloring (preferably the colour your mom likes )

Get Started

  • Shred the soap in a food processor or a blender
  • Boil a pot of water and put a glass bowl over the pot.
  • Put some almond oil into the bowl and place the soap into the bowl.
  • Take the water from the pot and pour it into the bowl until the soap changes into paste.
  • Later add colour, oils and Vitamin E
  • Now the soap is ready to cool in the mold of your choice. Yo can get these mold from the nearby shop or you can use ice cube trays, cookie cutters, or anything else that you might come up with.
  • Allow the soap to air out on wax paper for a day or two.
  • Just the molded soap may look plain, so lets decorate it.

    Its time to decorate

    All you need :

Your all new molded soap, lace, ribbon, buttons, sequins, small silk flowers, beads, short straight pins with flat heads, colour paper and glue.

    Get started again :

Cut the lace in a desired shape to fit the soap. Wrap the material around the soap and secure it to the soap on the back with some straight pins with the flat heads so that the pins don't stick out. Now, decorate the soap with the small silk flowers, beads, ribbon, sequins, etc. Write on a piece of colour paper ' For A Great Mom' and stick on the left over space with the help of a glue.

So have fun kids, try this at home and let me know if your mom's loved it.
