Don't Lift Heavy Objects When Pregnant
Most of our elders keep saying that its not safe to lift heavy objects when a woman is pregnant. Lifting anything below 10 kilos may be okay but anything heavier than that could be unsafe according to experts.

And it is totally unsafe to carry such an object and walk around the house. Though your physical condition may allow you to lift and carry such objects, it isn't a wise thing to do during pregnancy.

What is the reason? Well, your joints and muscles tend to be a bit weaker when you are pregnant. This means that you are vulnerable to injury more during pregnancy.

And the stress is taken more by your lower back when you set out to lift anything. This is why doctors never recommend that.

The next thing that becomes a cause of concern is a fall. When you have a baby bump, your chances of falling may increase as your center of gravity may be altered due to the baby bump. Tripping and falling could be very dangerous.

It is better to consult a doctor to know about what is safe to lift and what's not. In fact, it is better to stay away from such risky activities at least during pregnancy.
Having someone to help you carry out your activities during pregnancy may help you avoid such situations.
