A sequel to the 2018 hit Stree, Stree 2 is a Hindi horror-comedy directed by Amar Kaushik, jointly produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. With Shraddha Kapoor returning as the female lead, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.

Talking about the plot - Together, the group take on Sarkata, a headless malevolent entity who is terrorizing Chanderi by abducting its women.

Kalki 2898 AD

Kalki 2898 AD has defied expectations, securing its place as one of the most talked-about films of the year, ranking second on Google Search this year. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, this Telugu-language sci-fi epic boasts an impressive Pan India cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Shobana, Pasupathy, and Anna Ben.

Inspired by Hindu scriptures, the film kicks off the Kalki Cinematic Universe and has already set multiple records, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024. Set in the year 2898 AD, in a world ravaged by apocalypse, the film tracks a determined group who is on a high-stakes mission to protect the unborn child of lab subject SUM-80, known as Kalki.

12th Fail

At the 69th Filmfare Awards, this movie took home five prestigious awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor (Critics) for Vikrant Massey. Now it has been awarded for being the 3rd most searched movie on Google India in 2024. 12th Fail is a movie that not only inspired but also sparked widespread conversations. This 2023 Hindi-language biographical drama that became a sleeper hit was mainly driven by Vikrant Massey's outstanding performance in the movie.

Directed, produced, and written by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film was based on Anurag Pathak's 2019 non-fiction book about Manoj Kumar Sharma, a man who rose from extreme poverty to become an Indian Police Service officer.

Laapata Ladies

This heart-wrenching movie stars Vijay Sethupathi in the titular role, who delivers a spellbinding performance, alongside an impressive cast that includes Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Bharathiraja.

The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) claims the 8th spot on Google Search this year, also securing its place as one of the most expensive Indian films and one of the priciest non-English-language films ever made. It set multiple box office records, emerging as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, this 2024 Tamil-language action thriller features Vijay in four distinct roles, alongside an evergreen cast that includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Ajmal, Sneha, Laila, alongwith Yogi Babu and Meenakshi Chaudhary amongst many others. As AGS Entertainment's 25th production, it also marks the penultimate film of the actor before stepping into the political arena.

Salaar

Salaar clinches the 9th spot on Google Search this year, a 2023 Telugu-language action-packed thriller that blends epic storytelling with gripping action.
