World Poetry Day 2024: Wishes, Messages, Quotes, Texts, Greetings, Images, WhatsApp And FB Status
World Poetry Day is celebrated to promote the reading, writing, publishing, and teaching of poetry throughout the world. It is a day to honor the importance of poetry in preserving and promoting languages and cultures and to reflect on the power of poetry to capture the creative spirit of the human mind.
The celebration of World Poetry Day was initiated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1999. To celebrate this day, 21 March was chosen as it coincides with the start of the spring season in the northern hemisphere, which is often associated with rebirth, renewal, and creativity.

Through World Poetry Day, UNESCO seeks to support linguistic diversity through poetic expression and to offer endangered languages the opportunity to be heard within their communities. It also aims to encourage a return to the oral tradition of poetry recitals, to promote the teaching of poetry, and to restore a dialogue between poetry and the other arts such as theatre, dance, music, and painting.
On World Poetry Day 2024, let's share wishes, messages, quotes, and greetings with others, and spread the joy and beauty of poetry.
