World Day of Social Justice, observed on 20 February, is a day dedicated to promoting efforts to provide social justice to all national and international policies to build societies that are fairer and more equitable and tackle grave injustices and widespread labour insecurities.
It is on 26 November 2007, the United Nations General Assembly declared that starting from the sixty-third session of the General Assembly, 20 February will be celebrated annually as the World Day of Social Justice.
