Triumph Shape Sensation
“Shape Sensation" - the new design challenge for young designers in the third year of the worldwide lingerie design competition.

Wednesday evening saw the atrium of Palladium Mall at High Street Pheonix bustle with excitement as young contestants gathered together to prove their mettle at the Triumph Inspiration Award 2010. Triumph International - World"s leading lingerie and shape wear brand successfully competed the 3rd year of this Worldwide Lingerie Design Contest that had the theme “Shape Sensation". International Models walked the ramp in designs created by upcoming talent from all over the Country.

This was the first of its kind Lingerie Fashion Show ever held in an open atrium in a Mall. The International design contest of highest caliber was judged by Mr. Thorsten Allenstein, MD - Triumph International, India & SriLanka along with eminent personalities from the world of Fashion viz.: Meher Castelino - Former Miss India Winner and a leading fashion consultant; Neeta Lulla - Leading Fashion designer; Babita Malkani - Fashion Designer & Anita Dongre - The lady behind the brand 'AND'. The winning designs from 29 countries will then need to impress a prestigious international jury at the grand final, this year held in the fashion metropolis of London.

The Triumph Inspiration Award 2010 saw upcoming talent from across the Country take center stage interpreting the design theme “Shape Sensation", with their multinational view of shapes and silhouettes. This year, for the first time, a one-piece was made instead of only a two-piece bra and briefs, but the big goal remained the same: the young designers must win over the jury with the inspiration and creativity of their unique showpiece. This year the prestigious Award was won by Ms. Yadvi Aggarwal from Pearl Academy of fashion followed by 1st runner up Ms. Sneha Advani from WLC and the 2nd runner up Ms. Shweta Gupta from Pearl Academy of fashion.

In India, Triumph kicked off the contest in mid of February. Participants, in final year of their curriculum from leading Fashion Schools like National Institute of Fashion Technology, National School of Design, Pearl Academy, JD School of Art, SNDT, Raffles School of Design and Wigan and Leigh College showed overwhelming response. Triumph had showcased the short listed products in their stores around a month before the ramp walk.
