December 2025 is set to have quite an eventful ending, especially when it comes to the streaming platforms, with back-to-back films and series hitting the screens. OTT Releases To Stream This Weekend

Thamma

The romantic horror comedy film which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, hit the big screens in October 2025. Thamma, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is all set to have its OTT release on December 16, 2025, on the popular streaming platfrom Amazon Prime Video. The movie features a massive star cast including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, Geeta Agarwal Sharma and others, including some interesting cameo appearances.

Eh Deewane Ki Deewaniyat

The romantic drama film, which is helmed by Milap Zaveri, was released in theatres in October 2025. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles, is now gearing up to make its OTT debut on December 16, 2025. The movie, which emerged as a major commercial success, will be availble for streaming on the popular platform Netflix.

Madhuri Dixit Nene, the celebrated Bollywood actress is set to play the role of a serial killer in the upcoming Jio Hotstar web series, titled Mrs Deshpande. The crime thriller series, which is an adaptation of the French series La Mante, is gearing up to have its grand release on December 19, 2025. Mrs Deshpande reportedly revolves around the life of an seemingly-ordinary woman, who hides a dark secret behind her smile.

Four More Shots Please Season 4

The much-loved comedy drama television series is gearing to make its long-awaited comeback to the OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video, with its fourth and final season. Four More Shots Please Season 4 is gearing up to have its streaming debut on the platform on December 19, 2025. Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J, and Maanvi Gaagro, are set to reprise their respective roles in the series, helmed by Arunima Sharma and Neha Parti Matiyani. Dino Morea, Prateik Smita Patil, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Lisa Ray, and others essay the supporting roles.

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4

The highly celebrated comedy show, host by popular actor-comedian Kapil Sharma, is gearing to return to the renowned OTT platform Netflix, on December 20, 2025. Along with the host, the show will feature its regular faces, including the very talented Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Sunil Grover. Along with the team, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh are also expected to return to the show.

Raat Akeli Hain: The Bansal Murders

The much-awaited Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer, which is a sequel to the 2020-released acclaimed film Raat Akeli Hain, is gearing to have its OTT release on Netflix, on December 19, 2025. Radhika Apte, Chitrangda Singh, Rajat Kapoor, Revathi, Sanjay Kapoor, Deepti Naval, and others essay the supporting roles in the film helmed by Honey Trehan.
