A Dramatic Approach To A Sensitive Subject

The advertisement itself is a mini-drama that packs a punch of humor and awareness. It shows a married woman complaining to Ranveer about his brother, who is her husband, played by Johny. To make everyone understand Johny's erectile dysfunction, she uses numerous sexual innuendos, which causes him embarrassment.

As she threatens to leave the house, she gets slapped by her mother-in-law, which makes her fall from the first floor in slow motion. Ranveer, ever the hero, then introduces Johnny to a solution, a Bold Care pill. He then comes to her rescue and is simultaneously able to satisfy his wife as well.

What starts as a dramatic confrontation, complete with slaps and exaggerated expressions, typical of Indian daily soaps, takes a turn towards resolution and understanding. It is a bold statement in the landscape of Indian advertising, where sexual wellness is often skirted around.

This humorous purpose-driven ad is written by Tanmay Bhat, Devaiah Bopanna, and their team and is directed by Ayappa KM and also marks Johny Sins' first-ever advertisement for an Indian brand.

The reception to Ranveer and Johnny's advertisement has been overwhelmingly positive, with laughter and applause echoing through the comments section of social media.

Renowned personalities from the Indian entertainment industry, including Vishal Dadlani and Archana Puran Singh, have lauded the ad for its creativity and bold message. Nakuul Mehta, a prominent TV actor, praised Ranveer and wrote, 'Aceing my day job and how'.

Speaking about the ad, Ranveer stated, "I'm here with sincere intent to use my influence for raising awareness and making a positive impact. This campaign is more than just talk; it's a mission that I am deeply connected to, aiming for tangible solutions and impacting millions of lives across the country."
