Reza is an Iranian student of the western city of Hamedan. He first noticed his striking resemblance to the Argentinian footballer a few months ago, and he started trimming his hair and beard accordingly, to look like Messi!

When he walked into the city of Hamaden, people wanted a picture with Reza Parastesh and hence the cops had to take him to the station and they impounded his car to stop the chaos!

He said being Messi's doppelganger is seriously paying off, as he has landed into modelling contracts and continually gets booked for interviews.

"Now people really see me as the Iranian Messi and want me to mimic everything he does. When I show up somewhere, people are really shocked. I'm really happy that seeing me makes them happy and this happiness gives me a lot of energy."
