8 Common Things People Tell You After A Breakup
Breaking up can be pretty hard and there is no easy way to deal with it. Well, it doesn't really make sense that the whole world is trying to advice you on how to deal with the situation, when they weren't the ones who were in it. But don't write them off. Friends and family are the ones who will still take care of you on your bad days. So don't discount their contribution.
7 Things Every Atheist In India Has To Hear
Today we bring you some of the common things that people tell you after you had a breakup. The whole list is a cliché and people giving advices badly need to find new ones.

“Whatever Happens, It's For The Best”
One of the most familiar advice given after a breakup, it is a cliché now! But a person with a broken heart cannot possibly see how it is for the best. So, advisors please refrain from saying 'it's for the best'. Even though you are trying to help, you are making things worse.

“You Deserved Better Anyway”
People say this as if they know what the other person deserved and what he/she didn't. But this one actually makes you feel hopeful. Hopeful that someone out there is much better than your ex and you are on your way to them, now that your ex is out of the way.

“Time Heals Everything”
Actually time heals nothing. People just adjust to the fact that they have to move on or it would be too weird for everyone. They just learn to live on replacements and get increasingly better at it. One of the worst breakup clichés ever!

“Being Single Is Awesome”
Yeah, right! It all comes down to perspective. Some might be happy being single, as the new found freedom and zero responsibilities can be fun. And there will be the others who will miss being the couple. We would love it if you stopped being such a cliché and stop offering such beaten breakup advice.

“Plenty Of Fish In The Sea”
Well
guys,
the
thing
is
that
no
fish
is
equal
to
the
one
that
got
away.
The
one
fish
that
did
get
away
will
be
at
the
back
of
our
minds,
always.
And
considering
that
we
are
at
the
sea,
we
might
as
well
pick
a
crab
or
a
lobster
as
well!
At
times
the
things
people
tell
you
after
a
breakup
is
just
hilarious.

“All Guys/Girls Are The Same”
And then there will be the guy/girl who sympathises with you just because he/she had a similar experience. They bash your ex right and left, telling things that they they assume will make you feel better and then slowly proceed to tell about their failed love story. Moving on after a breakup can be hard when you're surrounded by such people.

“Someday You'll Have A Good Laugh Looking Back”
And a tear too, we bet. One of the things that people tell you after a breakup and it actually makes sense. You see, life waits for no one. It goes on and heartbroken people fall in love again or they don't. But what will remain are the memories that will forever haunt you. Still it is a classic cliché.

“He/She Will Regret It”
Perhaps they will, perhaps they wont! You see, it doesn't really matter if they regret breaking up someday. The now is what matters and they chose to walk out or maybe you did. So the advice that you're giving is like one of the worst, clichéd breakup advices ever. The people who were involved both know that they will regret it someday but that's just life.
