If you ask your friends to lend you money, they may not. But you can latch on to a different friend every day and get some lunch for free. Make sure you pick friends who belong to different groups or else, soon people will be avoiding you.

Fall In Love
Unfortunately, this solution is gender specific. It always works for girls but not for guys who are expected to pay the bill. If a guy has been eyeing you for long, you can just give him a little attention so that he offers to buy you lunch or at least covers your conveyance expenses.

Pet Pally With Uncles & Aunties
Drop in at your friend's place to say ‘hi' just when they are about to start dinner. Your friend's parents are obviously not as shameless as you so they will ask you to stay for dinner. And when they do, don't get all pricey; just accept their offer humbly.

Collect Money From Your Debtors
In case you have lent money your friends who were once broke, it is time to cash in on favours you made. You have to start asking them to hitch you out of your current financial crisis just like you did once. So start counting your favours.

Do Some Freelancing
Seriously, just do some work and it doesn't matter what the work is. You can serve in a café or offer to help the librarian. At least try to make a living until help arrives. You will realise it is much easier to work and earn than trying to borrow money.
