Sisters In Arms– Rang De’s Women’s Day Initiative
Rang De (www.rangde.org) is a non-profit organisation that supports rural entrepreneurs from low income households across India with access to low cost loans. Rang De's mission is to help the underserved communities overcome poverty and empower them both economically and socially. In the last 6 years, Rang De has provided more than 28,000 low cost loans and disbursed over Rs. 20 crores as low cost loans.
As a part of its ‘Sisters in Arms' initiative, Rang De is celebrating this International Women's Day with a special women-centric campaign that salutes our nation's women. Women who have overcome all odds including poverty, social prejudice, gender stereotypes and more, to carve out a niche for themselves; everyday women who truly are heroes in their own right, and who make us all proud to be women.

Rang De has supported over 27,000 (who form 95% of Rang De's borrower community) entrepreneurs with affordable micro-credit so far and this Women's Day, Rang De wants to reach out to many more such unsung heroes.
Join hands with Rang De and make this International Women's Day really mean something. Visit to empower a woman and all it takes is Rs.100 to become a Rang De Social Investor. Your contribution will help the borrowers become full-time entrepreneurs that will uplift themselves and the nation.
