It is a medically proven fact that sitting all day can ruin your life. In fact studies say that people who sit all day are more likely to die at an early age. Sitting on your butts for straight hours develops stress on your tailbone and lower back which can lead to sciatic nerve problems.

If you are the one facing physical pains from sitting all day, then it is a sign that your work stress has already started affecting your health and that you should start taking measures to cure your pains and to prevent more severe risks because it is also studied that the more time you spend sitting, the more risk you develop to die of cancer or of heart diseases.

The ways to cure pains and to keep a good distance from more scary health risks are fairly easy. Take a break of 5 to 10 minutes every hour to release the pressure developing on your body parts. Climb up and down the staircase or take trips to washroom and do simple stretches.

In today’s world, keeping mental stress at bay can be quite challenging for employees. Most of the 9 to 5 workers can be heard singing woeful tales of their workplaces.

Physical stress can be cured to great extent or completely by medication but mental stress can be controlled by you to a great extent.

Are your boss’s absurd demands over a project or his or a colleague’s constant bullying eating you bit by bit from inside? Working for living requires sheer hardwork and dedication, it does not require suffering mental or/and physical torture to earn living.

Working for a living at no point should be this dreadful that it makes you cry in washrooms or lowers your self confidence. The simple ways described above to take control of physical stress can be equally helpful in dealing with mental stress. Regular exercise in form of simple stretches, running, and yoga are great ways to keep work stress at bay.

So why wait for any kind of stress, be it mental or physical, to become fatal? Instead, decide what is more important for you, money or health? Because money can come again but health if not maintained with a stress free mind and simple exercises today, can cost you your life (which gives several chances to make money)!
