9 Places Where You Can’t Wear Jeans
Slipping into our favourite pair of jeans is like second nature to us. Most often, our jeans are unwashed and we wear them several times before we wash them. We wear jeans to parties, markets and even at home. Some people are allowed to wear jeans to work as well. In short, given a choice, most people would wear jeans everywhere they go.
However, there are some places at which you cannot wear jeans. For example, you cannot wear jeans to office if you have formal dress code. If you are a corporate honcho or a marketing person, you cannot afford to wear jeans to your office. There are also some special occasions at which wearing jeans are considered cheeky. For example, you cannot wear jeans to a funeral or a wedding.
When you cannot wear jeans, you have to think what else to pick out of your wardrobe or your collection of clothes. The easiest thing to do in such situations is to follow the dress code. Here are some places where you simply cannot wear jeans:

Weddings
Weddings are usually days on which you are supposed to be at your traditional best. And if it is your wedding, then you must have an outfit planned way in advance. Wearing jeans at weddings is considered uncouth.

Work
Some offices do not care what you wear as long as you do the job. But some work places are very particular about their dress code. You cannot wear jeans to work if you have a career in law, marketing, business development or hospitality.

Funerals
Funerals are sombre occasions and there is no reason why there should be a dress code for expressing grief. However, if you wear jeans at a funeral, it is considered disrespectful to the dead.

Graduation Party
When you graduate from college or university, you would be expected to be dressed in full formal gear. Don't wear jeans to your graduation party because it is against the usually norms of propriety.

Formal Dinner
If you are invited to a dinner party by your friends, you can always slip into jeans and tees. But if it is your boss throwing a formal dinner for his team, dress in something formal and appropriate.

Beach
Beaches are meant for free and loose clothing that you can slip out of easily. Never wear jeans to a sea beach because it will only make you feel hot and humid.

Theme Parties
If you turn up at a theme party wearing jeans, then it means you are lazy and do not want to work hard for designing your costume. Be creative guys, you don't get to do it all the time.

At Pool Parties
Pool parties usually do not have a theme, but you should never wear jeans to a pool party even if you do not intend to swim. Folding up your jeans for dipping your feet in water is also a difficult task.

Red Carpet
Not many of us get invited to red carpet events, but if you do manage to get invited to a special movie premiere, then please don't step out of a car in jeans among all those shutterbugs.
