There is always a conflict between North Indians and South Indians. In the south, people refer North Indians as an aggressive lot. Do you agree too? People say some North Indians are narrow-minded folks when compared to South Indians. Though there are only a handful of people who can stand North Indians, not many actually like them. There are some bad things about North Indians that are believed to be true.

On the other hand, there are indeed a lot of North Indian people who are totally awesome and much loved by the people in the south. Some of their best North Indian qualities are that they are 'very' generous, they are great foodies, they are warm and kind, and they have an excellent dressing sense.

They Are Snobs
It is believed that North Indians are snobbish people. For example, people in the north brag about the expensive brands they wear and the food they eat.

They Over Praise Themselves
No matter how much materialistic things they own, North Indian people over praise themselves even if they don't have anything. This is one of the bad things about North Indians.

They Don't Respect Women
On the whole, Indians don't give their women the respect they deserve. In north India, the situation is worse. The reason why many rapes happen in north India is that women are treated as sex slaves and looked down upon as commodities.

They Lack Civic Sense
The worse thing said about North Indian culture is that most of them lack civic sense. You will find a ton of men and women spitting red juice (paan) on the road, instead of using a spit can.

They Are Violent
Most men in north India are violent. Most married men beat up their women, they resort to brawl on the streets over a shot or two and they can get hostile even over petty issues.

They Are Very Abusive
Men and women in north India are very abusive. Even if you are as old as the hills, some of them show no respect when it comes to even casual daily conversation. This is one of the bad things said about North Indians.
