Most Venomous Snakes Of The World
Are you afraid of snakes? There is no reason to be afraid unless you come across one! Interestingly, not all snakes are poisonous. The ones which loiter around in our gardens are only frightening. But they do not have any deadly venom as such. However the sight of these creepy creatures does send the chills down one's spine.
Snakes are regarded as one of the most wonderful creature present in the bio-diversity. Snakes venom is also very useful. In many countries, the venom of the snakes is used in the manufacturing of various medicines. Many researches are still being conducted to bring snake's venom into use for more beneficial purposes. This venom for research is taken from the most venomous snakes of the world.

Rattlesnake
It belongs to the pit viper family and are capable of striking up to 2/3rd of their body length. Its venom is capable of destroying tissues and degenerating organs. The Eastern Diamondback is considered the most venomous species of the rattlesnake.

Death Adder
It is found in Australia and New Guinea. Death Adders look quite similar to vipers. A bite of the Death Adder can cause paralysis or death within 6 hours if untreated. It is the quickest striker of the world.

Viper
Vipers are found almost everywhere in the world. But the most venomous is the Saw Scaled Viper and the Chain Viper found in India. They are nocturnals and are extremely fast. A viper's bite can cause cardiac arrest or respiratory failure within 1-14 days of the bite.

Phillipine Cobra
It's venom is the most deadly among the cobra species. Phillipine cobra's venom may cause neurotoxicity, respiratory paralysis and death within thirty minutes of bite.

Tiger Snake
It is mostly found in Australia. A person bitten by a tiger snake may die within thirty minutes. A tiger snake usually flees when encountered. But it may become aggressive when cornered.

Black Mamba
Black Mamba is found throughout Africa. It is highly aggressive and strikes with a deadly precision. It is also one of the fastest land snakes of the world. It's single bite is capable of killing around 10-25 adults.

Taipan
This snake belongs from Australia. It's single bite is enough to kill 12,000 guinea pigs. It's venom causes the victim's blood to clot, resulting in slow death.

Fierce Snake Or Inland Taipan
It is one of the most toxic venomous snake of the world. It's one bite can kill about 100 humans and 2,50,000 mice! It is hardly encountered by humans in the wild.
