How To Quote Books You Haven't Read?

Why do we read? Sometimes for our own knowledge and sometimes to show off our knowledge. So these tips can help
Ways To Quote Book You Have Not Read:
1. The Books That Matter: You cannot be a good liar without doing some research. Even lying needs a bit of sweat. So if you sit down and research which are the books that are most talked about, say the top 20 books ever written, then you will have a good head start. Now you have the option of actually reading these books or just browsing through them to pick the right points. Either ways, you are informed.
2. But There Are So Many: Any Internet search will give you nothing less that 100 books that are the all time bests. So how do you even begin to choose. It is quite simple. If you can find an answer to the question, why we read? Actually, why people you are communicating with read? You have to narrow your list according to the taste and orientation of your audience. A corporate personnel will read 'Finance For Non Finance' or 'Six Sigma'.
3. Watch The Movies: The film makers of the world are here to rescue you. You have a whole range of movies (90 to 180 minutes) that will give you the essence of almost any book in the world. So the before someone exclaims again, 'You haven't read Harry Potter', just get a CD and watch it. Movies are not always the best renditions of books; but do you have a choice?
4. Read Excepts: The Internet is full of quotes from various book and authors. You need not read the whole book; just read the ones that catch your attention. So when you are lying, you can always drop the right lines by that author and be saved.
5. One Book Per Author: The trick behind being a good liar is to make the person in front of you nervous. You may not have read many books and your opponent might be very well read. But can still make him nervous by talking about really difficult and obscure books that he or she hasn't read like Ulysses by James Joyce . When someone asks you if you read a book by a particular author then you counteract with another book by the same author that they do not know about.
You have to know how to impress people and that comes with talking about books that you have not read but know about.
