While on one hand we have family feuds and promotion of nuclear family, here is a man proud of being blessed with the World's largest family. Ziona Chana, age 66, living in a village of Mizoram, has the World's largest family with 39 wives, 94 children and 33 grandchildren. They all stay together in a mansion of 100 rooms.

The World's largest family with Ziona Chana as the leading member is a family of 167 members and it's a perfectly happy family. The 94 wives stay in a dormitory together and have turns to visit their husband. His youngest wife is 35 years old and stays close to his room. Ziona Chana's first wife teaches the household chores to a new member. His wives take turns in cooking, daughters clean the house while men take care of the outdoor jobs.

At a time when relationships have become brittle, the World's largest family, shares a good relationship. Though scattered over a huge area of 100 room mansion, still share the same kitchen and each member provides an equal contribution in the monthly expenditure. "Even today, I am ready to expand my family and willing to go to any extent to marry. I have so many people to care (for) and look after, and I consider myself a lucky man," says Ziona Chana.

Ziona Chana is the head of a local Christian religious sect, named Chana, which preaches polygamy. This group has 400 families as members. Ziona Chana, the head of the World's largest family, is very happy to receive the title and says he does not mind extending it even more.
