Howzzat, A Book On Cricket Scandals

Howzzat
The Oxford book store was in full action over the weekend amidst the launch of “HOWZZAT", a book authored by Mani Dmello and Sanjay Pandey which gives valuable insight to the world of cricket scandals and match fixing. Inspired by real life stories, this piece of fiction constantly engages the reader as the suspense builds to a chilling climax.

Viveck Shettyy, Managing Director, Indus Communications, took centre stage for the 'Howzzat' book reading as a highly enthusiastic audience listened with rapt attention. He further went on to moderate the discussion and the question and answer session with great elan and finesse and a very sharp sense of humour.

Mani Dmello and Sanjay Pandey took on all questions, some extremely tricky ones at that. Madhusudan Kumar and Viren Shah also actively participated in the discussions and deliberations. Viveck Shettyy finally announced, “We have fixed the tea break now and hopefully somebody will soon come up and pay us for fixing it" and had the audience in splits.

The grapevine reveals that some Bollywood producers are looking at the Howzzat very seriously as a possible script for their next film. Meanwhile the debutante authors gear up to launch their next book focused on the 2G scam. Well, by the time the book comes out, there might be a 3G scam. Howzzat?
