Albert Einstein
March 14th marks the special day for two occasions. March 14th is Albert Einstein's birthday and also the National Pi Day. Albert Einstein's birthday who is now a well known immortal figure for his work and his contribution to every aspect of the society, got the fame and name only in the later half of his life. His experiments and new discoveries had always been a topic to debate.

Albert Einstein was born on March 14th 1879 to a Jewish couple Hermann and Pauline Einstein. He reportedly had learned to speak at a late age, he was a slow learner, with no special aptitude. Little did the world know at that time that the same child would grow up to be one of the World's renowned physicist in history and will be named as “Man of the Century" in 1999 by People's Magazine.

On this special day of Albert Einstein's Birthday lets look at some of his major Theories -

1.Photoelectric effect - The photoelectric effect was a challenge to the study of optics and the classical wave theory of light in the 1800s. His discovery of Photoelectric effect gained him prominence in the Physics community and he was awarded the Noble Prize in 1921.

2.Special Theory Of Relativity - Special Theory of Relativity was a challenge to the Newtonian reliance on space and time as immutable frame of reference. According to Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, speed of light is the same for all, regardless to their motion relativity to the source of light.

3.Quantum Physics – Quantum Physics is the study of behaviour of matter and energy. Einstein's contribution to this theory was that the light behaves as it is composed of photons. In 1909 he introduced the wave-particle duality.

4.Unified Field Theory – This was an incomplete attempt of Einstein to unify the fundamental forces of physics into a single framework. Though this attempt did not succeeded it forms a base for several physics research.

Albert Einstein and his discoveries had put him on a pedestal. The much renowned god gifted physicist, many said did not believe in following a super power himself. On Albert Einstein's birthday lets look at some of his Religious beliefs -

1.God is “who reveals Himself in the lawful harmony of the world"
2.According to him God was an expression of human weakness.
3.The legends of Bible to him were honorable with primitive.
4.He believed that men never understood the actual nature of God and never will.
5.He said, “I"m not an atheist and I don"t think I can call myself a pantheist."

Albert Einstein has grown as a miracle himself amidst two biggest disasters of the world -World War I and World War II. Albert Einstein's birthday today is observed across the world as his knowledge and wisdom has blurred all political and religious boundaries.
