Women Spend $ 13k On Makeup In A Lifetime

According to the study a woman (for an average life span for 65 years) spends about 180 dollars every 12 months on cosmetics.

The average money spend in a lifetime on lipsticks is 1466 dollars, 3120 dollars on mascara and 2274 dollars on eye shadow.

The survey was conducted by UK based cosmetic store, Superdrug highlights that 70 per cent of women never leave the house without their most precious makeup tools, and half of those women said they wear make-up 24X7.

As a aprt of the survey, approximately 3,000 women were questioned.

"It is no surprise that the cost of all our lipsticks and other essential makeups add up to such a staggering figure," said the store's beauty director, Sara Wolverson.

Women use makeup as a tool to boost their confidence and as a way to make themselves feel fashionable and youthful.
