Fight For The Status Of 'Genderless'

By Super Admin

Norrie May – Welby, the world's first genderless person has launched an appeal after his status 'genderless' was revoked to 'female.'

This British man in the year 1999 got a sex – swap surgery and became the first genderless person in the world.

In March a new birth certificate stating as 'sex not specified' had been granted to him but New South Wales officials changed their mind three weeks later and stated him as 'Female.'

Inorder to get a 'sex not specified' identity permanently, May – Welby, has launched an appeal to Human Rights officials. It is expected that by the end of this year a decision will be taken on his gender or identity confirmation.

“There are two types of people - those who think there are men and women and those who think there are just people," he said.

He also added, “the set who believe there are only men and women get really upset."

In this world of equality and mutual understanding, people should stop branding someone as either a man or a woman. People who like to be called or labeled as 'genderless' too should be given space.
