Animal Oracles
The tug- of – war between Singapore and Germany has come to an end with, Paul's prediction been proved true. Although the match was between Netherlands and Spain, the two 'FIFA – Animal Oracles' have been the centre of attraction, Paul The Octopus and Mani The Parrot.

This world cup has fetched these two oracles enormous fame and money. In short these animals have won the 'FIFA World Cup' of fame. The veteran match predictor, Paul, atlast proved his expertise in this field. Mani, is yet to catch up with Paul, as Paul had started the job, way back in UEFA Euro 2008.

Although it's Octopus who is the expert, 'Mani The Parrot' with his accurate predictions, except for the semi – finale ( Uruguay v\s Netherlands) and the Finale ( Spain v\s Netherlands) has proved to be nothing lesser than the octopus.

The fact that animals possess sixth sense is not new. Experts say that during natural disasters, it is animals that get to know about it. It happens due to their ability to sense the most tenuous earth vibrations. For example – During tsunami, it"s said that animals are the one who got to know the disaster beforehand.

Also in 2007 there was a cat named 'Oscar", in Rhode Island, United States, who could predict the death of patients in Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Even though, these animals predict matches, death or natural disasters, a concrete reason behind such animal oracles has not been found out yet. There are similar match oracles, which went wrong, like 'Leon The Porcupine", 'Anton The Tamarin" and 'Petty The Pigmy Hippopotamus".

Hence these 'Match – Animal Oracles' are something purely under the grab of 'Luck.' Or else it could be that Octopuses are good at predicting future than parrot, porcupine, tamarin and hippopotamus. Animal experts say that octopuses are attracted to bright colours, so it could be Paul's attraction to bright Spain flag, led him to predict Spain's victory.
