Text Messaging
While You Are Behind The Wheels, Stay Away From Phones Still typing the text while you drive? Welcome to the shortcut to heaven. According to a study, it's been found that typing an SMS while behind the wheel increases the risk of crash or near crash by 23-fold in truck drivers.

Researchers at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute also found that truckers had the highest possibility to meet with an accident if at all they involve in text messaging while driving. This, however, doesn't give the right to the common people to do the same.

Studies have proved that, a slight disturbance in your focus while you drive, may result into a serious disaster. And so far as the truck drivers are concern, the study, according to The New York Times reported that the study used video cameras installed in truck cabs over a period of 18 months.

In fact, recent studies have shown that even the hands-free devices - required by law for drivers in New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C. - don't reduce the risk compared to talking while holding the phone. It's a long-sweet life. Better if not jeopardised for something as stupid as attending or texting while driving.
