Planet Hollywood to host Indian taste buds

Good News for Indians whose mouth waters at the very sight of delicious dishes; Planet hollywood International, the Las Vegas Strip-based mega resort, where Hollywood celebrities and counted big fishes and business emperors from all around the world dine with taste-defining dishes, is all set to open five to six outlets in India in collaboration with Arch Millennium Corp.

Planet Hollywood plans to invest about 15 million dollars by 2010 for the Indian segment of its restaurant business. Apart from Mumbai, the other restaurants are likely to come up in Delhi, Bangalore, Goa and Hyderabad. Siddharth Mobar, the President and CEO of Arch Millennium told that "In line with the restaurant's name, we would bring Hollywood stars such as Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone to India. We will also try to bring others such as Paris Hilton and Justin Timberlake."

Planet Hollywood has many dishes named after Hollywood stars and is now planning to introduce some of the Indian flavour along with the existing Bollywood stars. Some of the unique dishes that will be on offer at Planet Hollywood outlets include 'Chicken Crunch', based on Demi Moore's recipe and 'Banana Strudle', based on the recipe of Arnold Schwarzenegger's mother. The first restaurant is slated to come up in Mumbai in early 2008.

Apart from the dishes the interior of the hotel also reminds you of the Hollywood world. Each Planet Hollywood restaurant houses will have something or other to do with the Hollywood movies both old and new like movie genres reflecting interior design, action, horror and sci-fi. The audio visual system will play the movie trailers, clips and music videos.

Planet Hollywood is the most famous theme restaurant in the world. There are 28 Planet Hollywood across the U.S., Paris, as also in London, Dubai, Hong Kong and Beijing. Indian eaters will no more boast upon eating 20 'Rotis' or 10 'Parotas' but will talk about eating 'Arnold Schwarzenegger' and 'Paris Hilton'
