Can We Converse To The Dead Ones?

Ticking 12 at midnight the needles of the clock remained unmoved one over another for a second.... Growing darkness engulfs the frozen night outside... No leaves moved in the midnight breeze... Every single droplet of mist remained frozen at the tip of olive leaves, as if scared to fall down... Bats, the kins of nights, flew away to the dark horizon swinging the devilish wings... Somewhere in the forest echoed the howling of an owl accompanied by the screaming of jackals, the chores of fearful nights... In a closed room around a burning candle there sits a group of people concentrated on some unknown object, chanting some cryptic words... Then, as the clock ticks 12, a celestial voice reflected from the walls of the room to the astonishment of the gathered....

This is not for sure the screen play of a scary hollywood movie; but a routine event happening in many houses in an attempt to talk to the spirits of dead ones.

In fact expanded enough to be called a science, the art of spirit talking has gathered amazing number of followers and believers. The most popular method of talking to dead ones is 'Ojo Board', in which a spirit answers to the questions asked by the practitioner. Several methods are followed all around the world to communicate with the souls of the gone behind the screen by death. There are ample evidence given by the die hard followers of this art, more over an equivalent to black magic.

At this point, it is relevant for any rationalist to have questions and doubts popping up in his/her mind; is it possible to talk to the souls of dead people? Does there exist souls or spirits? If yes, will they come to us if we wish to talk to them? Questions are endless... Answers, of course no one knows well...

Philosophers like Plato provided evidence for it through the theories of 'world of forms and world of ideas'. Religions with frightening descriptions obliged the believers to believe in the existence of souls and in life after death. But... until now... no science or metaphysical studies could trace any reliable form of life after death or the existence of life in essence anywhere. No soul attempted in the history to converse openly with anyone and no spirit ever dared to appear in any form or display the supernatural powers other than the imaginary movies and fictions.

Life on earth is essentially within a body with signs of growth and reaction. At the very moment of death the identity of any living thing comes to an end and the body remains an inanimate object, so helpless and powerless even to protest against the crawling worms on it. The energy that fueled the mechanics of life and body gets dissolved with the same energy that powers the cosmos.

The belief that souls will appear to converse with anyone whenever called, is a denial of the centuries old believes regarding the spirits and souls. If a souls have no way other than obeying the commands and answering the questions of a human being, then obviously souls would be hundred fold limited in capabilities to human beings who already are limited within the body. If a soul has the capabilities to move inanimate objects and foresee future why don't they do it in the day light for the public to witness or at least for fun? If a soul is so powerful to move around the universe to answer the questions of people all around the globe and even able to tell the distant future happenings, why don't they reveal the disasters and accidents to at least their relatives? Answer-less questions are queued up, and as we are unable to provide evidence for the non existence of souls.

Methods of talking to souls may provide you with mysterious results, you may sometimes get answers to some of your questions, but probably they may be the work the deep-rooted believes in your mind. You may see unreal objects if concentrated on something, you may even hear voices form unknown corners. Just because your prejudices and baseless beliefs have created an illusion before your eyes, it may not be true or a reality. This world is for living ones. To live in this world a body, even though micro and minute, is essential and souls and spirits have places only in illusions and imaginations.
