Are We Living In A Free World

By Super Admin

We were born in a free country but have started living like slaves. With each day our lives are being moulded by those who are very few in numbers. They are taking unethical advantage of our silent attitude in society and against injustices. Do we really remember what is being free?

In a free world every person should be able to cherish absolute freedom by living in his/her own style. In a society where a few individuals decide rules and regulations for others, the liberty to think and act freely often gets affected. And we dance to those tunes that have been composed by others for their own personal comfort. But in such circumstances can we really feel that we are the members of any free society?

In cities, this usually remains the norm of almost every family. We usually perform what others are following. We don't ponder over how should we live as per own wishes. But we usually submit our mental abilities at the feet of those who know the art of saying things with conviction. Be it at home, office or in any circle, living by others' standards or trying to please others remains our favourite rule. We just never think of coming out of this false trap and dare to live by our own standards.

Let there be no 'super power' who can dictate terms how a country should or shouldn't exist. Let us be a little mature not be the slaves of specific propagandas being run through government aided broadcasters. Let there be some inspiration for our kids who must learn how to get what they really deserve. We should write the definition of "living with respect" for our next generation.

We have to nurture an environment, which reflects "people's choice", in place of showcasing any mediocre political leader's wishful thinking. We cannot leave ourselves at the discretion of some rogue local or "world" leaders (even if it includes US President or British PM).

Let us realize being a little less in some way does not amount to being a small-stature individual. We are special. We just need to realise our importance by thinking freely by our own standards. Let us be respectful towards others right to live as per his/her own choice and be deserving of the same liberty from others. We can earn our respect if realise how distinct qualities we have to enjoy life and be worth of contributing to our society. Of course no right to freedom is complete until we remember the associated accountability too.

Even the constitution of India gives us freedom of expression in Article (19) (1) A but associates some accountabilities in section (2). Only from this power the entire media or people enjoy the power to speak anything or live as they wish.

But again, what to do, when to do, where to do, why to do and how to do should be decided by us. Even if it is at domestic level or international, the life should be lived and made worthful through our own means and by our personal standards.

For, how long can we afford to live like dead human beings anymore? Why should we waste our time being or compete worthless people or mark? We all have some unique qualities that distinguish us. We must explore our potential and utilize it for our own goals.

Any change is possible. Just walk a step today for a change!
