You may have witnessed a lot of weddings, but not like the one billionaire Ambani threw on 12 July. The Ambani and Merchant families have spared no expense, hosting lavish events leading up to the big day. Performances by international stars like Katy Perry and Justin Bieber have been part of the celebrations.

The wedding had taken place at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. Additionally, other ceremonies are scheduled at the Ambani family residence, Antilia. The festivities have been ongoing for seven months and have included various ceremonies, parties, and even a European cruise.

The guest list for the main event is filled with high-profile names. Expected attendees include Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Hillary Clinton, Ivanka Trump, and Bollywood stars such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. Other celebrities spotted in Mumbai for the occasion include Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, John Cena, Law Roach, Rajkummar Rao, and Tony Blair.

Nita Amaban's Mehendi Is A Tribute To Her Family

Nita Ambani arrived at the wedding venue looking stunning in a peach silk ghagra designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. She carried a traditional Raman Divo lamp, an essential part of Gujarati weddings, symbolizing light and blessings from the groom's mother.

While everything was beyond extravagant, lavish, and thematic, one thing that cannot be missed is Nita Ambani's love for her family and she showcased that through a beautiful mehendi as a tribute to her loved ones.

It is the famous Mehendi artist Veena Nagda who drew this beautiful customized mehendi for Nita Ambani. The intricate design featured the names of her loved ones, showcasing a unique twist on the traditional Indian custom of including one's beloved's name in mehndi.

Her mehndi included the names of Anant and his bride Radhika Merchant, as well as her daughter Isha and husband Anand Piramal. Also featured were her son Akash and his wife Shloka Mehta, along with Nita's husband Mukesh Ambani. A stunning Radha-Krishna motif adorned her palm, complementing the design.

Following Anant and Radhika's 'Shubh Vivaah,' there will be a 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13 and a 'Mangal Utsav' or wedding reception on July 14. Another reception party is scheduled for July 15 in Mumbai.

While the exact cost of the wedding has not been disclosed by the Ambani family, estimates suggest it could range from $132 million to $320 million. Mukesh Ambani, Anant's father, is currently Asia's richest man with a net worth of $123.3 billion.
