Longyearbyen
This place is in the Svalbard Islands of Norway and it has a completely different reason to ban deaths in the area. The bodies there never decompose, as the area is all frozen. In fact, live samples of the virus of the Spanish influenza epidemic, which occurred in 1917, were taken from bodies buried there! Hence, the law was passed!

Falciano del Massico
This town in southern Italy had no space to bury their dead. The mayor had issued a statement which said, 'It is forbidden for residents to go beyond the boundaries of earthly life, to go into the afterlife'.
