She Is A Colombian Artist

Anjani Siddhartha is a Colombian artist who had moved to California to pursue sculpting and painting. She became a sex toy designer after a friend asked her to take over his artistic position at a factory. Apparently, he did not mention details on what exactly she she would be creating!

She Took Up The Challenge…

She had always been working on more traditional art before she got this offer. She said she was a bit shocked the moment she realised that she would be designing sex toys at her new job, but she quickly took up the challenge.

She Revealed…

About her job, she revealed: "I am always a very sensual person myself, and I've always been an artist so this is like, the mix of both worlds: art and sensuality together."

How Sex Toys Have Evolved Over The Years...

She discussed in an interview on how the world of sex toys has changed in the last 20 years. She said that the design of the sex toy has become much more important these days, as people are no longer looking for only the functionality of the toy, but also want an aesthetic feel, which has expanded the industry.

The Way The Toys Are Made

When she was asked on how the toys are made to look so realistic, she revealed that there are two ways of designing them. One is either by casting them off of adult performers, or the other way is to sculpt them from scratch. She further revealed that the first option is easier because the toy takes on the original look of the performer, and she just has to make some cosmetic changes.

She Sculpts The Toys All By Herself!

She completely sculpts the toys by herself and she attributes their realistic look to her three decades of sculpting experience. She also added that detailing comes naturally to her and she does a lot of them by hand. She works in clay making prototypes of the products.
