WIFW 2014 Day 2: Ashima and Leena

Inspired from Persia, Ashima and Leena showcased one of the best collections seen at Wills India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2014 ramp. Stunning prints in floating crepe and satin, knotted saree pallus, closed neckline, brocade bandhgala blouse, palazzo pants, sarees and maxis were showcased in their autumn winter 14-15 collection at Day 2 of WIFW 2014 ramp.

Resham thread work, Kashmiri motifs, thread work embroidery, vertical patterns, floral prints in colourful thread work were extensively seen in Ashima and Leena's collection. Kashmiri thread work in Middle East inspired collection of Ashima Leena.

Shades of white, black, red, indigo blue, yellow, pink and gold were layers of feminine hues were used in the contemporary stylish autumn winter collection of Ashima and Leena. From flared anarkalis to embroidered sarees, the collection was a treat to the eyes.

While sarees were mostly in creamy white colour which featured varied embroidery, most of the sarees had a small knee length side slit which looked stylish on the ramp. Sarees were worn with heavily sequinned or embroidered brocade bandhgala blouses.
