IIJW 2014: Raveena Tandon’s Rocking Style
Today is Day 2 of IIJW 2014. It has not been a star studded affair like the first day of India International Jewellery Week 2014. However, we have seen more innovative designs and creavity from the jewellery labels. While we were totally awed by the Brides Of India collection by Swarovski; there was still more to come. We saw Raveena Tandon walk the ramp of IIJW 2014 in stunning style.

The leading Bollywood diva from the 90s made a graceful comeback on the runaway for designers Dipti and Amisha. She was dressed in a white and gold sheer saree. With the see-through saree, she teamed up a short sleeved blouse. Her blouse was made out of green brocade.
Raveena's hair was tied high up in a curled ponytail. She wore two concentric necklaces fashioned as tiaras in her hair. Raveena also wore a number of necklaces together. There was a layered emerald necklace, a single string of diamonds, beads and also kundan jewellery. We do feel that wearing so many neck pieces together might have been bit of an over kill. However, Raveena had the confidence to carry it off.
This collection by Dipti and Amisha for IIJW 2014 is for ‘Women Who Aspire'. It is for women who have aspirations in the different roles in their life. The collection contains jewellery for a daughter who is the light of her father's eyes and also for the daughter-in-law who is the pride of her family. It covers every role and aspiration in a woman's life.
