Talented n Famous Blind People In The World
It takes a lot of effort for an able person to achieve the ultimate success in life. Out of all the disabilities in the world, blindness is the most difficult one to deal with. Whether a person is born blind or loses his/her sight at some point later in life, the inability to see can make a person want to do something challenging.
Of course, you need to meet the challenges, if you want to reach success. We all admire those who have risen above the most difficult challenges, especially those with disabilities. There are some famous blind people in the world who have reached more than an average height to achieve some of their dreams. Looking at these famous and talented blind people, one would not even notice they see the world in a true black form.
Here is a list of some of the most famous and talented blind people in the world who have added an accomplishment to the world they cannot even see.

Marla Runyan
At the age of 9, this Olympic athlete began to suffer from Stargardt's disease which left her completely blind. The determined athlete never stopped to accomplish anything in life. Taking part in long jump competitions, and her success at the 1992 Paraolympics proved her strength was higher than any other with abilities. By 2001 she won her first of three consecutive 5000 metre National Championships. She also released her autobiography called, 'No finish Line: My life as I see it'.
Derek Rabelo
At the age of three, Derek Rabelo began to love the sound and feel of the waves beneath him. You should know that this 20-year-old boy isn't your average surfer. He was born with congenital glaucoma which left him completely blind by the age of three. A strong believer in God, Derek Rabelo believes that his achievements are only by God's grace.
John Bramblitt
Just like any other person in the world, we all loose our hope at some point in our life. But then a sudden ray of hope jolts us to a great extent to achieve sky heights. John Bramblitt lost the sight of colour at the age of 30 when he suffered from complications due to epilepsy. He began to turn his hobby into a talent- painting. John Bramblitt cannot see colours, therefore he has developed a process whereby he paints by the sense of touch.
Mark Anthony Riccobono
At the ripe age of 5, Mark lost his vision to see the world. But this did not stop the talented Mark from achieving. He has become a vital part in the National Federation of the Blind program. He works to demonstrate on how blind people can now adjust in society and drive safely with the aid of new technology.
Christine Ha
If you are a fan of the reality show MasterChef, you would have come across Christine Ha. She is the winner of the 2012 America's MasterChef. Christine was diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica in 2004 and gradually started losing her sight. By 2007, she was left completely blind. It is a fact that Christine never studied cooking. It was her hobby which won her the title.
Pete Eckert
Pete Eckert is one of the famous and talented blind people in the world. Pete Eckert lost his eyesight due to a condition called retinitis pigmentosa. He is a good architect in industrial design and sculpture. Being a visual person even before he was blind, he now works like this - in his mind he first visualizes what he wants to create, then uses his sense of touch, memory and sound to make a design.
