Mistakes We Tend To Do Every Day

By Gunjan Massey

Everybody makes their share of mistakes and some tend to do it with a higher propensity compared to others. Parents try to instill good habits in their children from the childhood. Even a lifetime of learning will be failed to keep you from taking wrong steps from time to time. Some mistakes tend to be so natural that you do not even realize the slips until later when it is too late to do anything about them.

Mistakes We Tend To Do Every Day

Below are some common mistakes one tends to make every day.

Forgetting to say Sorry
Saying sorry is a simple enough gesture. This can go a long way in mending relationships and keeping arguments from flaring up. Even this simple expression is not so common and most people simply forget to say it when it matters the most. There are various moments every day when something one says hurts the other person. Do not make this mistake, and say 'sorry' before it is too late.

Forgetting to say Thank You
Just like, ‘I am sorry', ‘Thank You' is another oft-neglected thing that people forget to say. People attending the doors at hotels, shopping malls, and many other places promptly open the door for you to step inside. Do you remember to say thank you each time this happens? Sadly, most people do not take the time or consider this important. Any unforced kindly gesture that helps you in some way or another deserves gratitude.

De-cluttering before leaving the desk
So, you promise yourself that today you are sure to organize your desk before leaving the office or after your studies are over. How many days do you remember to do the same? This is repetitive work that should be ideally done every day, but this does not happen. It is a common mistake with people do and many times even deliberately!

Keeping track of daily Expenditures
This is one common mistake, people make. Whatever your financial situation is, it is necessary to keep track of what you are spending every day. This keeps you well within budget. Nevertheless, how many of you remember doing this regularly without fail? No doubt, it necessitates having a tight leash on expenditure when it is near the month's end!

Switching off Lights
Not all homes are equipped with motion sensor lights that work based on the presence of people in the room. For the majority turning the switch on and off is how it works. Alas, keeping the lights on even when leaving the room is a common mistake everybody makes. We either are preoccupied, too busy with something else, or are too callous to care about bills. Whatever the reason, this is a mistake one should avoid. Since electricity saved is, electricity generated!
