Day 2 IBFW: Meera, Muzaffar Ali's Awadh Collection
Filmmaker Muzaffar Ali and his designer wife Meera showed an exotic Awadh inspired couture collection on Day 2 of the ongoing India Bridal Fashion Week 2013. Meera, Muzaffar Ali collection is entitled 'Pearls on Oriental Forms' and consisted of lehengas, shararas, sarees, anarkalis and pharsi pyjamas.
Typical wedding colours like red, orange, pink or yellow were not extensively used as we saw hues of white, beige, peach and light green on the ramp. The pastel shades were smartly used by the designer, and the models showcased the Awadh collection with elegance on the Day 2 of IBFW 2013.
Intricate chikan, zardozi work on Georgette and velvet fabrics were seen on the ramp. Long embroidered jackets with sarees and lehengas added a contemporary look to the collection.
Heavy jewellery which is vitally important to get the perfect bridal look were seen on the ramp. Meera, Muzaffar Ali collection at Day 2 of IBFW 2013 consisted of heavy earrings, necklaces, mang tikka and nose rings.
Even men's wear from Pearls On Oriental Forms collection at Day 2 of IBFW 2013 was kept simple yet traditional. Bandh gallas, sherwanis were commonly seen on the ramp. Take a look at the Meera, Muzaffar Ali collection that was showcased on Day 2 of the ongoing IBFW 2013.

Creamy White Lehenga
The light coloured lehenga has heavy silver work on it which makes it look shinier. It has been accessorised with pearl and gold jewellery.

Chikan Thread Work
Chikan thread work is very ethnic and has been seen in few outfits from Meera and Muzaffar Ali's collection.

Light Pink Saree
The light pink coloured saree has silver work on it and has been teamed up with a Georgette full sleeve blouse.

Golden Lehenga
The white lehenga has been paired up with a strapless golden blouse, and a brown net dupatta.

Red Lehenga
Bright red is a very common bridal colour. So, Meera and Muzaffar Ali preferred brick red colour in combination with white.

Neon Saree With Jacket
The neon orange saree has been accessorised with a golden jacket. Reminds of Sonam Kapoor's Cannes 2013 red carpet look.

Sheer Golden Jaket
The striped white lehenga has been accessorised with a sheer golden jacket. The neckline of the jacket has net frills and mirror work on it.

Light Green Sharara
It is a different colour which was showcased by Meera and Muzaffar Ali at Day 2 of IBFW 2013.

Black And Golden
This is a great combo and has also been spotted on Day 1 of IBFW. Black outfits with golden work on it looks classy!
