Masaba Gupta: IRFW 2013 Day 1

The IRFW 2013 Day 1 started with a big bang of colours and an assortment of designs by the ace designer Masaba Gupta. At the India Resortwear Fashion Week 2013 there was a lot of focus on designer, Masaba Gupta's collection since she is one who loves to set the stage on fire. The Masaba Gupta collection was indeed jaw dropping as the apparels were better this year.

At the IRFW 2013 Day 1, the designer Masaba Gupta showed her very best collection which had a lot of hidden agenda to it. The outfits by the designer which was showcased on the ramp at the India Resort Fashion Week 2013 were not only contemporary but also traditionally unique.

What seemed to have caught our attention is the array of bright colours with perfect combinations of print. The golden footwear which went well with these coloured outfits showcased by Masaba Gupta was indeed eye catchy too. Out of all the outfits which were see on the ramp at the IRFW 2013 day 1, what seemed to be the most attractive was the selection of stick figure print, thrilling stripes and indeed uncanny sense of style which Masaba is all about.

Blue N White

Striking satin blue and white was one of the main combinations which was used at the IRFW 2013 day 1 by Masaba Gupta.

Bikini Lehenga

The white bikini top and the white lehenga seems to be quite an attraction. The pink tinge to the outfit too makes it look very chic.

Pretty Pink

This strawberry pink bikini top and pink train skirt along with the stick figure design white skirt gave out a very traditional look.

Black N White

Two bold colours which was widely used by designer Masaba Gupta at the IRFW 2013 on Day 1 was surely looking unique and very stylish.

Black Striped

Stripes are back in fashion again, and this time it is not only black and white stripes which is trending. Bright colours along with the standard black and white stripes is adding a much better look.

Black v/s Pink

The black velvet waist coat and the hot pink skirt is one of the perfect combination of colours that was showcased by Masaba Gupta at the IRFW 2013.

Red Stripes

As mentioned earlier, black and white is not the only colours for stripes. The red stripe dress with a tinge of sky blue and black polka dots looked amazing.

Pink Panther

The pink printed jumpsuit and the black shawl which was stylishly wrapped around one of the shoulders gave out a different look.

Pink Printed dress

The pink printed dress was candy to the eyes. The knee length pink printed dress looked superb. What was all the more appealing is the cut design at the waist.

Sheer Dress

This is one of the perfect outfits of Masaba Gupta at the IRFW 2013 day 1. The white sheer tank dress subtly covered the black bikini in style.

Mango Sheer

The sunshine yellow sheer top covered the black bikini in style. What looked all the more stunning was the yellow threaded embroidery on the dress.

Black N Red

Black and red is the two best colour combinations which will look perfect on anyone. This dress by Masaba Gupta at the IRFW 2013 DAY 1 looked beautiful since it had a tinge of gold on it too.

Sky Blue

The sky blue half top and the black-white high waist striped skirt was very attracting. To complete the lovely attire, a golden bell earring made it worth the look.

Saree Style

Lovely colours adorned this unique saree. The pallu of the saree was wrapped gently around the neck which enhances the traditional outfit.

Polka Dots

The full length of the dress was sensationally covered with polka dots. The boat neck of the dress was grandly designed and looked royal too since it had a touch of gold embroidery on it.

Yellow vs Pink Saree

At the Masaba Gupta IRFW 2013 on day 1, the designer showcased only a few sarees which had vibrant assortment of colours. This was one of the best.

Grey and Yellow

The grey and yellow saree was one of the other perfect saree which was seen on the ramp at the India Resort Fashion Week 2013. A lovely range of colours, right?

Blue and Gold

Vibrant blue and gold is a perfect combination to suit any occasion. This saree by designer Masaba Gupta was one of a kind because it had traditional prints on it that caught our attention.
