Know The Bridal Colour Of IBFW 2013

We are restricted to certain colours like red, maroon and green for the bridal wear. But Indian Bridal Fashion Week has come with a fresh outlook towards the bride. On Day 3 of IBFW 2013, we saw two collections. One was from Falguni Shane Peacock and other was from Raghavendra Rathore. Neha Dhupia who was the showstopper for Falguni Shane Peacock wore a black peplum gown.

Raghavendra Rathore's theme was futuristic. So black was the bridal colour of the future for him. There were a series of black outfits in both the collections. Keeping Day 3 aside, even if we take a look at Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013 as a whole, there is a definitely movement towards black as a bridal colour.

Traditionally, black is one colour that the bride is forbidden to wear. But black is also the only colour that looks great on almost everybody. If you are a little plump, wearing black as a bridal colour can slim you down. Black can also be worn by people of any complexion. That is why, it may not be such a bad idea to see black as a bridal colour. Even close ones of brides/ groom can try these designs from Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013.
