26th Edinburgh International Science Festival – Namma Bengaluru
We come across many events and festivals in India but unlike the Edinburgh International Science Festival which will take place in India for the very first time is something Bangaloreans are patiently looking forward too. The 26th Edinburgh International Science Festival is going to be provoking and influential not just for kids but for adults too.
The Science festival which commences on 30th August till 8th September 2013 in Namma Bengaluru is one such festival anxious kids are waiting for.

The 26th Edinburgh International Science Festival which is going to be staged in Bengaluru, Karnataka for the first time ever will see around 50 thousand kids taking part and schools too which will enroll in their numerous activities. This 10 days Science festival will be a splendid affair to make Science fun, exciting and engaging young minds to feel how important Science is in our life. The 26th Edinburgh International Science Festival is a strategic initiative by Bhartiya City which is committed to curating exceptional cultural programs to engage and inspire the country's youth and most importantly promoting culture apart from technology and science.
Addressing the press conference, Mr Snehdeep Aggarwal, Chairman of Bhartiya Group said, "This International Science Festival will surely bring about a change in our society's way of thinking when it comes to science. If you attend this 10 day Science festival at Bhartiya City you will be shocked to see how science is important for our lifestyle and how it will work wonders in our daily activities." He also added on to say, "This Edinburgh International Science Festival will also enhance the quality of life."
On a skype call, Dr Simon Gage, Director and CEO of Edinburgh International Science Festival said, "We are thrilled to bring the EISF to India for the first time. We are happy to be working in partnership with Bhartiya City, Art Konnect and MyCity4Kids on this brand new initiative."
What to look out for: This Science festival will have experts from United Kingdom as well as a few of our Indian experts who will teach our kids interesting features related to science. Some of the activities which will interest you at the 26th Edinburgh International Science Festival in Bengaluru would be learning about Patterns in nature, Solar energy-wind power, the Coldest show on earth, World of bubbles, Forensic Science and many more fun activities.
