There are several women who have made India proud with their dedication, talent and passion! Indian women are not just recognized for their beauty but also for their work! Women achievers who have changed the country or brought a difference. Celebrate women's day with these women who have made India proud.

Kiran Bedi: The first female IPS Officer in the Indian Police Service made India especially women proud! Currently she has retired from her IPS post and is an active social activist. She has worked as the Police Advisor to the Secretary General of the United Nations in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations, and she has represented India at the United Nations and in numerous international forums
Anju Bobby George: The Indian athlete has not only made India proud bu the female has brought a difference in the sports field. Anju Bobby George made history when she won the bronze medal in Long Jump at the2003 World Championships in Athletics in Paris. she became the first Indian athlete ever to win a medal in a World Championships in Athletics jumping.
Naina Lal Kidwai: She is the Chief Executive Officer of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, India branches. She operates from Japan and is one of the Indian female who made the country proud with her talent.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: The Mangalore beauty and a former model was crowned as miss world in the year 1994. She has been voted as one of the most beautiful women in the world. With her beauty and acting skills, the actress has also set her toes in the Hollywood.
Saina Nehwal: The Indian badminton champion is currently ranked no 4 in the world. Saina is the first Indian woman to reach the singles quarterfinals at the Olympics and the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships. The 21 year old player also became the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, by clinching the Indonesia Open with a victory over higher-ranked Chinese player, Wang Lin in Jakarta.
