Pune Wine Tasting Festival To Kick Off!
The Pune Wine Tasting Festival reaches its 6th year in 2012. And we must say that this wine tasting festival is gathering quite a bit of fame. Why not, it is one of its kind wine festival in India. This festival will span out on the weekend of 15th and 16th December. The festival is taking place at Koregoan Park in Pune.
Wine tasting is a popular hobby among the Europeans. But in India, it has not garnered much support. This is primarily because we presume wine to be expensive. Thus it is a thing for the rich who have a pampered lifestyle.

But things are slowly changing. The great Indian middle class has started taking interest in wines ever since it was indigenously produced. The Pune to Nashik region is called the wine belt of India. There are several vineyards in this belt that grow grapes for making delicious wines. These vineyards give us some affordable varieties of wine.
