The year 2012 was like a wedding season for Bollywood. All of a sudden, celebrities started tying the knot and we were left counting the numbers of Bollywood brides! Maybe, it was something to do with the 'end of the world' prediction. That is probably why all the celebrities are falling over each other to get married!

Anyway, we are not complaining because we got to see a visual bonanza of India's best designers at work. The brides of Bollywood were dressed to their best by their favourite fashion designers. Some of the Bollywood brides were even seen with 2 or more designers to ensure that their bridal trousseau lacked nothing.

We have ranked Kareena Kapoor as the best dressed bride of Bollywood this year. Kareena Kapoor's wedding trousseau was designed partly by Manish Malhotra and Ritu Kumar. Kareena's wedding clothes were imaginative and creative. She did not wear any of the typical lehengas or sarees that are termed 'bridal'.
