1. Antonio Sabato Jr: He has famously said that 'Calvin Klien reinvented my career'. He was one the most famous Calvin Klien underwear models to grace the huge bill boards of America. As he is junior, his father too was an Italian actor of repute. Otherwise, he is an actor of Italian origin who did a couple of not so good movies and then the underwear commercial shot him to fame. So it was the brand CK and not being born on leap day that made him leap towards fame.
2. Dinah Shore: She reached the zenith of her popularity in the 50s and 60s so you may not know her. That doesn't take anything away from this famous American pop singer who helped pop on its way up the charts. She later became a great television show hostess for various programs. She died of Ovarian cancer in the 90s.
3. Morarji Desai: Ex Prime Minster of India was born 29th February and that was not the only reason he was famous. He was great advocate of the urine therapy; he drank his first urine of the day in the morning and that was supposed to be an immediate relief from piles or hemorrhoids that were bothering him. He continued with this practice life long and was open about it even in front of the media making himself the butt of many jokes.
4. Aileen Wuornos: She is the original 'Monster'; we are talking about the movie that got Charlize Theron an academy award. She was actually a psychotic serial killer who murdered 6 men in and around Florida way back in the 1980s. She stated the cause of her crime as brutal assault from these men when she had met them as a commercial sex worker. He was convicted and given the fatal injection. Looks like 29th February does make you kind of whacky.
5. Mark Foster: Remember the three pretty blond boys from the band 'Foster The People', well the main one among them was born on leap day. Mark Foster was the founding member of this Indi Pop band that was nominated for Grammy's.
