Pet lovers are ample and even celebrities are not behind in showing their love for pets. Here is a list of celebrities and their lovable dogs.

Paris Hilton: The heiress, businesswoman and a singer is a big pet lover. She has in her pocket 17 dogs and other pets which are always with her whenever she is out. Her purse shaped chiwawa or Chihuahua Tinkerbell has appeared in all five seasons of her reality TV show The Simple Life, often dressed in designer chic to mirror the heiress" appearance. Paris Hilton's love for Chihuahua Tinkerbell was limelighted when she rewarded $5,000, when her dog went missing from home.

Oprah Winfrey: Voted as the best celebrity dog owner by a magazine, has many dog breeds. Her 2 cocker spaniel and 3 golden retrievers has made her famous in the celebrities dogs list.

Britney Spears: Britney Spears" Chihuahua Bit Bit was covered in 2004 when the singer walked the red carpet of an award show with the tiny dog wearing a $100,000 diamond-encrusted collar. She led the trend of accessorising dogs and is still known as one of the famous celebrities dog lover.

Elton John: It is believed that Elton John owns over 20 dogs which includes border terriers, an Irish wolfhound, a Labrador, German shepherds and Spaniels. The singer, one of the famous celebrities pet lover, is often seen on the red carpet with Arthur (Cocker Spaniel). This celebrity pet lover made the dog his best man at his wedding to filmmaker David Furnish in 2005. Arthur also made a guest appearance in the singer"s 2006 album The Captain and the Kid and is mentioned in the album credit as Arthur: woof-bells.

Mariah Carey: Her Jack Russell Terrier, named Jill E Beans. This celebrity pet lover dog, Jack Russell Terrier was gifted to her by her ex-husband, Tommy Mottola.

Jessica Alba: This actress is an avid pet lover and one of the famous celebrities with dogs. Jessica has been seen dining, shopping and walking the streets with her two pugs. For the comfort of her dogs, Jessica hired an interior designer to create a special room for her pets, which included a lawn made from synthetic material.
