Experience Exclusive Retreat At 080 Lounge In Bengaluru's T2: Where Luxury Meets Sky-High Comfort
Exclusivity, sophistication, and a premium experience tailored to a high-end clientele is what would make a perfect lounge at any airport. Indian travellers are just getting acquainted with swanky airports that are creating ripples all over. A luxurious, one of a kind lounge adds the perfect sense of style to the Indian hi flying experience.
Needless to say, the best in the category is no other than the '080 Lounge'; that has established itself as the premier brand preferred by most travellers flying from Kempegowda International Airport T1 or T2 . The newly opened 080 Lounge at the Domestic Terminal 2 is a cut above the rest in it's planning and execution.

What's Behind The Name '080 Lounge'?
The '080 Lounge' brand is a tribute to Bengaluru, named after the city's trunk dial code, 080. Hence it's an immersive experience that captures the essence of the Garden City. Every aspect of the lounge, from its culturally inspired interiors to its botanical elements, is thoughtfully designed to tell the stories of Bengaluru and Karnataka.
Located on Level 3 of BLR Airport Terminal 2, the 080 Domestic Lounge invites travellers into a space deeply rooted in the heritage, tranquillity, and vibrant culture of Karnataka. The design concept is centred around the dynamic spirit of Bangalore, seamlessly weaving local artistry and cultural elements into the lounge's ambiance.

For example, the Kodagu Cafe, inspired by the coffee plantations of Coorg, features murals by local artists that narrate the region's story. The Business Class Lounge boasts a stunning lighting installation inspired by the jasmine flower, a symbol of Karnataka.
Authenticity is at the heart of the 080 Lounge, with decor that honours Karnataka's diverse heritage and urban charm. The lounge creates a garden and forest-like atmosphere, reflecting Bangalore's identity as the Garden City. Local artists and artisans have played a significant role in shaping the lounge's unique character, from the music tree handcrafted by artisans from MM Hills using lantana wood to the map of Bangalore that flows through the quiet and business connect zones.

What Makes 080 Lounge At T2 So Unique?
The 080 Lounge distinguishes itself from other lounges in India through its deep-rooted connection to the cultural heritage of Karnataka and Bangalore. What truly makes 080 Lounge unique is its thoughtful integration of local elements in every aspect, from the design and decor to the cuisine and art. The lounge's menu, inspired by regional flavours and crafted by local chefs, offers an authentic taste of Karnataka.
No wonder that the 080 Domestic Lounge at BLR Airport, was recently awarded 'Airport Lounge of the Year' . Their seamless fusion of heritage and contemporary comfort sets 080 Lounge apart, offering a truly unparalleled experience that resonates with both local and international travellers, elevating it to a class of its own among airport lounges worldwide.

A Tribute To Bengaluru
Apart from The Kodagu Cafe honoring Coorg's coffee plantations, and the Business Class Lounge featuring a jasmine-inspired lighting installation, there are many more interesting spaces inside the newly opened space.
The 'Radio House' bar for instance is a dedicated space that captures the essence of Bengaluru's lively nightlife, offering a vibrant atmosphere with a selection of local and international beverages. The décor as well as the vibe of this bar truly screams 'Namma uru' all the way.
The lounge also features distinct thematic areas: the Courtyard Club evokes nostalgia for Bangalore's iconic clubs, and the VIP lounge, inspired by Tipu Sultan's era, offers a regal experience. The spa, reflecting Mysore's royal opulence, provides a serene retreat for the jet setter.
For professionals, the 'Business Connect zone' offers a lush, art-filled environment that inspires productivity, while the tranquil sanctuary trail leads to the 'Garden Dining' area. The 'Oasis Lounge' offers a peaceful escape, perfect for unwinding amidst the airport's bustle.
Gourmet Focus With A Local Twist
The food menu at 080 Lounge has been thoughtfully crafted by Celebrity Chef Ranveer Brar, who takes inspiration from Karnataka's rich culinary traditions. The menu is a celebration of local flavours and recipes, integrating regional ingredients to deliver an authentic Kannadiga dining experience. From the tangy Bisibelebath to the crispy Vada, each dish is designed to highlight the diverse tastes of Karnataka, using fragrant spices and farm-fresh produce sourced directly from the region.
Chef Brar's "50 Mile" project ensures that the menu remains rooted in local ingredients, emphasizing sustainability and supporting hyperlocal farms. The lounge's commitment to cultural representation is further enhanced by its collaboration with local chefs and artisans. Beyond the dishes, the lounge features display of local culinary treasures, such as heirloom grains and handcrafted cookware, which add to the ambiance and deepen the connection to the region's gastronomic legacy. By prioritizing fresh, sustainably grown produce, the lounge not only guarantees quality but also supports the livelihoods of local farmers and contributes to the regional economy.
