A tea garden owner in Tamil Nadu's Kotagiri town took a generous and unexpected step by gifting Royal Enfield bikes to his employees as a Diwali bonus this year. He surprised him by giving him a bike worth more than Rs 2 lakh. A video of Shivakumar riding with his employees on their new motorcycles has gone viral on the internet. The employees expressed gratitude for this unexpected gift.

Many companies offer good leave packages to their employees which may also include international tours. In 2020, just ahead of Diwali, the Finance Department under Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia provided a festival package to its employees, which included Rs 10,000 cash in addition to leave travel allowance.
