The launch of Chandrayaan-3 holds immense significance for ISRO and is one of their most ambitious projects. The space organisation has invited the general public to view their launch from the gallery at the ISRO headquarters. One can also witness this historic launch on their website and YouTube channel. You can also watch the launch on Oneindia.

The launch of Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2 and it will allow India to develop its space technology and its ability to soft land on the Moon. This will surely allow this nation to pave the way for its future lunar missions.

It consists of Lander and Rover configuration and will demonstrate end-to-end capability in safe landing and roving on the lunar surface.

Chandrayaan-3 propulsion module will carry the lander and rover configuration till the 100 km lunar orbit. The propulsion module has a Spectro-polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth (SHAPE) payload and it will study the spectral and Polari metric measurements of Earth from the lunar orbit.

The lander is incorporated with scientific instruments that will allow scientists to collect data on the moon's atmosphere, surface, and geology. It will also help them to understand the origin, formation and evolution of this celestial body.
